Lith Harbour.
Lith Harbour is a place with some low level weapons. There are also some potions and some armors. Enemies are quite weak around this area. Mano is the boss of this area. But it's not much of a huge threat. Here is a list of of NPC from Maplewiki.

Nautilus.
Nautilus is where you can become a Pirate. It is is place with no enemies. It is mostly for other classes, access to the Omega Sector and also a huge string of quests.

Perion
Perion is a place where a begginer becomes a Warrior. It is very big ofr a normal town. Perion is average with the quests. If you are under level 29, You can go to Ariant FOR FREEEEEEE!
Here is a list of NPC from Maple wiki. Dances with Balrog located at the Shrine of Warriors, who will promote worthy beginners to warriors and warriors to their second job advancement.
An equipment store that sells weapons and armor, mainly for warriors.
Arturo, who sells potions and miscellaneous items

Kerning city is the place where begginers choose the life of a theif. Kerning is one of the smallest places on the map. But it is made up by the subway. Kerning city has also acess to New Leaf City. (Masteria) It also has an internet cafe.

Ellina is a place where begginers become magicans. It is forest themed, with a weapon shop and a potions shop that sells mana potions slightly cheaper. There are dungeons around the edges of Ellina ranging from slime dungeons to Curse Eye dungeons. You can also go to Orbis via Ellina.

Henesys
Henesys is a the place where a begginer becomes a bowman in Mushroom Park. Henesys is the place where the Free Market originates. Henesys also is the home of Mushmom (The answer to the poll haha) Anyway, Henesys is probably the most famous town in Maplestory. Many higher level come here to defeat the Mushmom and call the lower levelers noobs or nubes or newbs or whatever.
